Big Data & Evolution of Medicine

The important evolution in health research is the big data or data coming in from the patients. Nowadays there are various ways to gather data from the patients coming from his health file, from his wristwatch, from his smartphone, etc. At this moment, there is no collection of data from our physicians, however, as soon as the data can be collected, it will help not only for the patients but also for the physicians to improve their ways to understand their patient’s diseases and identify the right treatments. This interview with Prof. Dr Philippe Gevaert was recorded during ERRF 2017.
