ULANC Northern European Masterclass 2023

Provide a basic course in airway diseases (asthma, CRS and allergy) to:

• Raise awareness of the concept of global airway disease in relation to upper and lower airway diseases
• Provide insight into the impact of multimorbidity/comorbidities on patients when they are not well treated and when their conditions are not well controlled
• Identify clear guidance based on evidence on how to screen patients, including which scoring systems to use in global airway disease, and evaluate when to refer for both upper and lower airway conditions
• Build an understanding of when to refer patients to specialist settings and to know the secondary specialists within both upper and lower airway diseases.

This year, ULANC (Upper and Lower Airways Northern European Consensus) and EUFOREA presented the 2023 Masterclass on 'Primary Care Physicians and Nurses with Interest in Global Airway Diseases' that took place at the Scandic CPH Strandpark in Denmark on the 1st of July.
